Zagreb Fountains are greeting visitors entering the city. A set of attractive fountains decorate the University Park and offer a changing light show during the night.

Zagreb Fountains are a new Zagreb highlight. Made to greet visitors entering the city. In other words, the centrepiece of Zagreb’s urban identity.

Colourful fountains with jets rising up to ten metres are a set of beautiful pictures of Zagreb at any time of the year.

During the day enjoy a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere with the sound of water.  As night comes, fountain lights create a romantic atmosphere and reveal their true beauty and all its glory.

What can you see and do at Zagreb Fountains?

You will get to enjoy amazing views and relax with the sounds of moving water.

During the night, the fountains light up and offer a romantic atmosphere.

We recommend visiting during the day or night. But during weekend nights you will get to witness a unique light and musical programme. There are 3 shows on weekends, Friday to Sunday. They start at 9 PM, 10 PM and 11 PM and last for 15 minutes.

Swimming (or dipping) is not recommended, but nobody is going to bother you if you do. After all, the locals do it too.

How to get to Zagreb Fountains?

Situated at the University Park, close to the modern building of the National University Library and the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall.

Roughly some 10 minutes walking distance from the Zagreb Train Station.
